LIFE AT MARS HILL: IN ETHIOPIA, 3/8/14
Leaders from around Mars Hill Church landed back in Seattle this week after a whirlwind visit to Ethiopia. They spent their time on the ground meeting the church planters supported by Mars Hill, speaking at a conference for 2,000 pastors, and learning how to lead short-term missions.
WELCOME THE LITTLE CHILDREN
Hundreds of enthusiastic children greeted the pastors with flowers, competing to be the first to offer their bouquet.
WHEN IN ROME…
The pastors had the opportunity to visit local churches during their time in Ethiopia. Pastors Ryan Williams and Matthias Haeusel even had the chance to preach at two of these churches’ Sunday gathering.
THE PEOPLE OF ETHIOPIA
Pastors described the people they met in Ethiopia as amazing, beautiful, vibrant, and joyful, even in the midst of poverty and tragedy.
